InsideNGO’s Annual Conference is one of the largest gatherings of international development professionals in the U.S. Each year, more than 1,200 attendees benefit from the insights, experience, and perspectives of their peers and sector experts. This year’s conference, Framing the Future of NGO Excellence, takes place July 19-21 in Washington, DC.

Presenting at the InsideNGO Annual Conference is a great way to promote the good work that you have been doing and raise your own professional profile. We’re looking for session ideas that will highlight NGO success—innovation, best practices, proven tools or approaches, lessons learned.


Session proposals will be accepted in the following categories:

  • Regulatory and Funder Compliance (Grants & Contracts)
  • Operational & Organizational Effectiveness
  • People & Culture (Human Resources)
  • Professional Development
  • Learning
  • Information Communications Technology

As well as in the following sub-categories:

  • Risk management
  • Duty of Care: Safety, Security, Staff Care
  • Business Development
  • Internal audit/compliance
  • Procurement
  • Project Management

Sessions are scheduled to last 60-75 minutes. Your submission is more likely to be accepted if you:

  • Have an identified speaker(s) and/or facilitator
  • Have specified a format and topic with a clearly defined purpose of what the attendee will learn
  • Have a session topic that resonates with a global member audience and addresses global issues, particularly on a trending topic
  • You can demonstrate presentation experience
