Mazen has more than 8 years’ experience in humanitarian field, starting as field volunteer till director position for a variety of well-known organizations (International NGOs as well as Syrian Diaspora NGOs). Currently working as part time with Syria Relief as organizational development manager supporting the capacity strengthening of Syria Relief as well as other CBOs through conducting comprehensive organizational capacity assessments and training needs assessments, design and implement capacity development activities such as training, on the job support, coaching and mentoring in addition to providing the required consultations for improving policies and procedures.

More than 35 projects management experience from short term emergency response projects till long duration and sustained resilience projects in the following sectors: FSL, NFI, WASH, Health and Education. Certified trainer on PMD Pro levels 1 and 2 as well as Program DPro. Conducted more than 30 training sessions on PMD Pro and partnerships management for Syrian as well as International NGOs which targeted more than hundreds of trainees.

Currently studying master’s in organizational Change and Development in the University of Manchester. Previously, hold a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Lebanese International University. Awarded with Alan Harpham Award for 2016 for the promoting the professionalization of project management in the international development and humanitarian sectors.
