Project DPro PRACTITIONER Certification
The Practitioner Certification is not an exam. It is an activity based examination that allow a continuing professional development. Activities are designed to be performed over a period of time (not a few hours or even same day).
It Provides a comprehensive and participatory approach to project management.
Project DPro Practitioners are professionals actively engaged with project management in the development, humanitarian and social sectors. The Practitioner Certificate is evidence that you can apply project management best practise to your work through Project DPro. As a professional, you will continue to improve your knowledge and skills, and endeavour to pass on your experience to others. For that reason, you are required to committing to the PM4NGOs Core Values by signing the DPro Practitioners Code of Conduct and Ethics.
To become a Project DPro Practitioner you need to have passed the Foundation examination for Project DPro Foundation (PMD Pro 1) and demonstrate your ability to apply and analyze the contents of the guide.
Requirements: in order to becoming a Project DPro Practitioner, the candidate must first achieve the Project DPro Foundation. Other certifications are not accepted to replace the Project DPro Foundation.
Becoming a member of the DPro+ platform is the first step to becoming a practitioner. There you will find ongoing self-learning opportunities and curated content for continuous development. DPro+ is also the site where certified Project DPro and Program DPro professionals can meet to connect with each other and learn about job and mentoring opportunities. There are forums with postings from people in the humanitarian and development sectors, and links to regular PM4NGOs webinars and activities.
When you decide to pursuit your Practitioner Certification, you will need to register and complete activities from the 3 learning sections: Professional Development, Informal Learning, and Giving Back.
